Wedding Photographer Edinburgh: Archerfield House
by admin September 28, 2015
So a long awaited wedding photography blog instalment!
It has once again been a busy wedding photography season here in Edinburgh, so there has not been much time for writing blogs, now the season is beginning to wind down I will try to update this more often.
I wanted to share some photos from a lovely wedding at the very beautiful Archerfield Estate in East Lothian. The couple were Masha and Ross who were delightful and obviously very much in love. This was a wedding of two cultures as well as two people, this always make the wedding more interesting, I love it when couples combine different cultures and traditions into their wedding day.
Ross is originally from East Lothian and Masha originates from Iran and they both now live in Canada, so there was a very international feel to the day.
We had some lovely weather, so we took a wander down from the main house to the small lake, this is a great spot for some quite time with the bride and groom for wedding photos without the distractions of everything going on at the Archerfield main house.
Later on in the day we also took the opportunity to get some wedding photography done at the sea front, this is a great place for some more dramatic images with a different feel to the photography from the rest of the day.
I would like to take a moment to thank Masha and Ross for choosing me to photograph their wedding, also for being such a lovely couple who were a delight to photograph. Also I would like to thank Archerfield, it really is an amazing venue with excellent professional staff, always on hand to help out with any situation.
